Evans EQ4 frosted batter bass drum head. This is a really good head. It has a great low end, coupled with a fantastic “click” from the bass drum beater. It sounds perfectly EQ’d right from the word go, probably why it’s called that. Clear signs of use, but still got life in it. Bought in a bundle of heads and as much as I loved this, my gig is a 50s gig, so I’ve got to go more old school.
