Vintage 70s Fibes chrome Fibreglass snare drum. These were known to be a favourite of Buddy Rich. Sadly, this one is rather scruffy, even allowing for the fact that it's 50 years old. The are scratches all over it, particularly on the chrome wrap, which look to have been done deliberately. Some of the lugs are quite scratched too and there are scratches and some corrosion on the hoops. That said, these are all cosmetic issues. The snare mechanism is original and working albeit that the wires are aftermarket Pearls which don't quite fit perfectly. I sold this drum once before and the buyer returned it, claiming that it was out of round. I don't think it's out of round at, but I do think the bearing edges might need a bit of tidying up. Please look at the photos carefully.
