Excellent condition vintage Ludwig LM 402 snare drum. I think it’s from the 80s. Great condition throughout, except for some minor chrome flaking on the top hoop and very early signs of mild pitting around the shell in places which is common for Ludwig. The snare throw off is not original but I replaced it with a brand-new Ludwig strainer which works beautifully and in my opinion returns the vintage classic look of the drum . I replaced the snare wire and resonant has some time ago. The snare wire is Gibraltar. Please do study the pictures carefully. This is obviously one of the classic and sought- after Drums from the 1970s and 80s, and is in overall excellent condition. Extremely versatile tuning range and suitable for all kinds of music.
