10 lug Ludwig 15x4 two piece brass shell snare drum from 1920s. The shell is the same construction as the black beauty snare drums of the era. One extra hole on the snare throw off panel. The shell has been outfitted with inde butt end utilising the original hole spaces, later Ludwig snare throw off, tube lugs and premier die cast hoops. Shell is original. Small crack on the bead of the drum which hasn’t changed under my stewardship.
