Hi there without going into too much detail I’ll tell you the story I bought the set of 13s which have a top that split however these still sound great really good and I bought a secondhand almost brand-new 15 inch top with two small much smaller splits with the intention of cutting it down to 13 and using both tops the one with the splits for one gig and the one without the splits for another however I’ve decided I’m not gonna bother. I just haven’t got the time for the desire to mess about cutting it down I did watch a YouTube video with somebody cutting assemble down using a Dremel which looks very simple or you can have it done professionally which cost about £35 selling as a bundle.
