The Zildjian Z3 series (2009–2013) was a rare line of professional cast bronze cymbals designed specifically for loud, heavy music like rock and metal, succeeding the Z Custom line. Known for high-volume, brilliant finishes, and large bells, they combined the cut and projection of Z Customs with the playability of the A Custom range.
