Shell : 5mm, 6ply maple (with SFR). Star Classic Maple. I bought it with sound focus ring and black nickel parts. There are no scratches on the shell, lugs, etc., and it is a beautiful item. As you can see in the picture, there is a pattern on the top of the hoop.
