The hand-turned solid mahogany body ensures a stable construction and supports a clear, resonant sound with powerful bass and precise slap tones. The drum is covered with high-quality goat skin, which is tensioned using a multi-layer Alpine nylon-polyester cord and enables reliable and long-lasting tuning. There is a braided carrying handle on the belly of the drum, which makes it easy to transport and at the same time offers practical handling when playing. In addition, the djembé has a tension cord reserve so that the head tension can be readjusted at any time if necessary. The surface of the mahogany wood is glazed, which highlights the natural grain particularly beautifull.
