Bought this kit to practice on and it works very well, only a few months old, all the pads are dual zone as are the cymbals and the cymbals are dampable. The mesh heads give the drums a nice feel and the snare is set to give a greater degree of feel (this can easily be set in the set up menu) it would be an ideal beginners kit or practice kit, it is much better than the lower end kits but obviously not as good as top range kits, I'm stepping back from drumming due to age and needing hand surgery.
