Great sounding snare. Usable but has heavy flaking and pitting to the chrome finish. Seems to be common with these. Also the snare tension is ok but not perfect, might just need proper knowledge on how to set it up properly or could need new spring on the adjustment tighteners or fresh snare wires . Not been used in a few years but I remember a few instances of the snare lever coming off quite easily when playing heavily. Not sure exactly why it was happening. Has modern tension rods on top , slotted on the bottom. Everything else looks original. For these reasons selling it as ‘spares or repairs’ - could use some attention - but sounds good as is and totally usable if you aren’t too picky. Priced accordingly. Thanks .
