Crack has been cut out slightly crudely. I used this as a bottom 16” hihat and it gave that airy response like a trash cymbal might. Sort of like Zack Grooves from Everything Yes. Still has a great crash sound as demo shows. Cut out has probably added a bit more trashiness and reduced the warmth to the sound.
